Job losses loom for Minute Maid plant in Peterborough

Another Peterborough manufacturer says job losses will be coming in early 2026. This time it's at Minute Maid.
Greg Davis has the details.
UPDATE: Minutes after this story aired on Friday at 5:30 p.m. UFCW Local 175 responded in an email to state they have not been provided with the number of workers who will be impacted. This local represents 80 of the employees and the layoff date is not expected to be later than Dec. 31.
“Our members at Minute Maid, many of whom have years of service with the company, take great pride in their workand the quality products they manufacture,” stated UFCW Local 175 President Kelly Tosato. "This layoff will have a significant impact on these workers and their community."

Another Peterborough manufacturer says job losses will be coming in early 2026. This time it's at Minute Maid.

UPDATE: Minutes after this story aired on Friday at 5:30 p.m. UFCW Local 175 responded in an email to state they have not been provided with the number of workers who will be impacted. This local represents 80 of the employees and the layoff date is not expected to be later than Dec. 31.
