Kylie Stanton
Reporter
Kylie Stanton is a video-journalist for Global BC, based in Victoria.
A winner of the RTDNA (Radio, Television and Digital News Association) Video Journalist award in 2023, Kylie began her broadcast career at CKPG in Prince George as a reporter and late-night anchor. She then moved to CFJC in Kamloops where she began shooting and editing her own stories.
Prior to joining Global BC, she worked as a video-journalist at CHEK News.
A graduate of Simon Fraser University with a major in Communications, and BCIT’s broadcast journalism program, throughout her career, Kylie has covered a wide range of stories, but has always had a soft spot for feature storytelling.
When Kylie is not in the field reporting, the mother of two can be found in the dance studio where she choreographs for competitive teams at home in Victoria and across the country. She knows far too much about golf, thanks to her husband.
