Late night host Stephen Colbert isn’t staying silent after U.S. Preaiswnr Donald Trump took a victory lap over ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ come to an end. On his show Monday night, Colbert clapped back at Trump’s Truth Social post, joking, “I’m the martyr… and the view is fantastic from up here.” Trump had also hinted Jimmy Kimmel might be next, but Colbert defended his fellow host and questioned why CBS would cancel a No. 1-rated show. The cancellation news comes shortly after CBS’s parent company settled a $16 million lawsuit with Trump over a 60 Minutes interview, adding fuel to the conspiratorial fires.
